TELOS: The Fantastic World of Eugene Tssui has been completed!
It is my pleasure to announce that my film “TELOS: The Fantastic World of
Eugene Tssui” has now been completed and is ready for screening!
I am happy with the results and very grateful for all the hard work by everyone
involved from start to finish. The final stages of editing included the talents
of consulting editor, Jennifer Chinlund, and original music by the multi-
instrumentalist Luke Wyland, a member of the experimental, pop band “AU” from
Portland, Oregon. I was also honored to work with two notable industry veterans:
Philip Perkins on the sound mix and Gary Coates on color grading. I am looking
forward to sharing the final cut with you!
Since my first encounter with Eugene in 2007 he has proved to be a worthy
subject. During the course of this project he has steadfastly continued to strive
towards the realization of his dream and he continues to inspire me towards
the fulfillment of mine: for “TELOS: The Fantastic World of Eugene Tssui” to
be screened as widely as possible! Completion of the film was enabled by a
grant from the Berkeley Film Foundation and money raised at the “Fish House”
fundraiser in December 2012. More funds are needed to meet the final expenses
associated with film mastering, festival submissions, and outreach efforts
to ensure that audiences do get to see the film. Donations of any size are a
welcome support towards these distribution efforts for the film.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to organize a private screening for your
organization or educational institution and please stay tuned for information on
the film’s official premiere in 2014!
Thank you for your continued support and helping bring “TELOS: The Fantastic
World of Eugene Tssui” to a wide audience.
